During our research, we discovered, on this church's Web site, that they had a sculpture by Maximilian Schneiderhahn. I drove down today and took some pictures. This piece is installed in the altar but is covered all year EXCEPT for Holy Thursday.

Pope St. Pius V Church

We were here to photograph the statue of St. Ann and found the church dark and couldn't find the light switch. But with the light coming from the windows, and a 30 second exposure, the picture came out pretty well.

The Church was established in 1843 and is the second oldest church in St. Louis. As you can see, the exterior does not give any hint of the beauty that is within the church.
